Create complete mechanical 3d piston in AutoCAD 2018
The piston is created by basic 2d and 3d commands
The following 2d command in AutoCAD 2018 drawing are.
1.line command
2.trim command
3.ucs command (the ucs means universal coordinate system)
4.lcs command (local coordinate system)
1.line command:
The line command is used to create the outer line of the piston in side view.the line command in AutoCAD 2018 is very important because major of the piston is made with line command.
2.trim command:
The trim command in AutoCAD 2018 is very useful edit tool .it is used to cut the extraordinary part .the basis of trim command is cut one line crossing the another line.
3.ucs and lcs command:
The universal coordinate system and local coordinate system is used to change the pivot point of the object .it mainly used in 3d software like 3ds max,maya,and blender etc...,
The following 3d command in AutoCAD 2018 drawing are.
1.revolve
1.revolve:
The revolve command is used to create cylinderical shape .it very short cut method to make cylinderical shape of piston.
Material command is used to apply the piston object. If any material you like steel, copper etc.
