3D car rim is created in AutoCAD 2018 use the following 2d and 3d command it is part 1. The remaining details are in future video like material apply ,render and environment set in AutoCAD 2018.
The following 2D commands in AutoCAD 2018 are
1.line command
2.copy command
3.spline command
4.offset command
5.trim command
6.rectangle command
First of all we have to draw the cut throw profile of car rim use line command we can draw the centre hole, Bolt hole,and outer profile of the car rim using basic line command if extraordinary line pass through one another we have to cut the line by trim command .the offset command is used to create the copy of same object with different sizes.the spline command is used to create the outer space of the car rim.
The following 3D commands in AutoCAD 2018 are
1.Revolve command
2.subtract command
The revolve command is used to rotate the 2d profile to make 3d object in 360degree.then two revolve object is subtracted from one main revolve object.the two revolve object are Bolt hole and center hole in car rim.if you like this video don't forget to subscribe my YouTube channel.
